Educational Enterprises Recording Company (EERC) is the sole source provider of rehearsal tracks and rehearsal/accompaniment CD's for the Texas, Florida, South Carolina, and New Mexico All-State Choirs. EERC has had a relationship with the Texas Music Educators Association since the 1975-76 school year.
Our extensive catalog of octavos and major works provides an excellent help for choral educators who are interested in rehearsal tracks for their students. We also have a solo library and are the sole distributor for the educational DVD "The Voice" a 26 minute DVD.
"The Voice" is an innovative way to teach students about the human voice. Designed for use by choir directors and voice teachers from junior high school to college, this curriculum tool will provide many opportunities for discussion and create a better understanding of the voice.
Three professionals discuss the function, abuses and care of the human voice:
- Charles Nelson, D.M., Vocal Pedagog, introduces beginning vocabulary of vocal structure and function
- Austin King, M.D., Laryngologist, answers questions about voice problems
- Jon Ashby, Ph.D., Speech Pathologist, discusses vocal abuse and and voice care
Use "The Voice" in vocal instruction classes and enable students to see a close view of the vocal cords of a singer at work. A booklet containing the material covered in the DVD, two tests and a crossword puzzle based on material presented is included.
